Last Year

The pond at dusk with a faint rainbow over the trees, a waterfall and dock across the water, and ducks gliding past.
Tents pitched on the grass beside the pond under a clear blue sky, with an American flag and a cornfield beyond.
Friends relaxing in chairs around a lit fire pit at night, the pond and dock lights glowing behind them.
A bottle of Indiana Whiskey, a plate of glazed smoked pork, and a gold MVP champion medal on the table.
An American-flag cornhole board on the sunny lawn with bean bags scattered and chickens wandering past.
Three racks of ribs and a brisket cooking on the racks of a pellet smoker.
The group gathered together with a dog by the big boulder at the pond's edge on a sunny fall afternoon.
An outdoor movie projected on a screen set up on the lawn beside the pond after dark.
